Rocky and Dancing Beam are now in NH.

Hi Sandy! Rocky and Dancin are here! Arrived at 11:45PM safe and sound. They
are just beautiful, and all tucked in for the night with out any trouble.
Our mare, Mystery, is already taking to Dancin - their stalls are across
from each other and they happily reached across the aisle to be nose to
nose. Rocky seems to be at ease and is settling in. Thanks for all the info
you sent along with them. It's been a pleasure doing business with you! Take

Sable Boot Scootin Boogie

I purchased a colt "Sable Boot Scootin Boogie" from Sable Morgans last year. Sandy responded to all my questions in a prompt fashion, was extremely honest, and from first contact to actual purchase, it went smoothly. There were no hidden charges, no surprises, and shipping help was given.

My colt has a very gentle temperament and has been a pleasure to work with. He was 5 months old when I purchased him and he's 1 yr and 8 months now. I have ponied him out on the trails, through rivers, in traffic, and trailered him. I long line him with surcingle, crupper, and halter and he performs serpentines, figure eights, circles, and remembers his lessons well. He's currently 14.2 and over 900 lbs. His growth pattern has been, that he appears fat, then his hind up grows and then the withers catches up and over and over. His butt height right now is 2 inches higher than his withers. I encourage everyone that asks about him to purchase from Sable Morgans. I have started over 10 horses of various breeds and my colt from Sable Morgans has been the easiest and most pleasurable. He has exhibited a great desire to jump and I will be training him as an all round horse for driving, English, jumping, western, and trail riding. I will eventually show him at all breed shows.

I wanted to purchase a "family" Morgan and I spent a year on the internet researching different farms and I choose Sable Morgans. I was not looking for the current popular "Morgan show" Morgan.

2001 - Sable Just One Kiss

Kiss is enjoying life in Sunny California with Erika

Hi, how are you? I'm good and so is Kessy. She's growing very nicely. Has
settled in like it was nothing. She is getting a little mouthy so I have put
up a sign that says not to pet. I know everyone wants to, but it only leads
to bad behavior. It's hard to say no, but I did that with my colt and in the
end we had a much easier time with him. She now knows who I am and follows
me all over her corral. Very playful too! We love her. I start work as an
assistant trainer for a reining stable on Sat. and have thoughts for Kessy in
that direction. We'll see. She is getting much better to lead. In no time
we'll be starting some ground driving. If all goes well I hope to show her
in harness next year. We are planned to attend a show in June ( hopefully
Harley will be better from the injury and he can go too), but we'll see. I
am back to light riding with him so if all goes well he'll be back in no
time. When Kessy gets better at ground leading I am going to try some
ponying off Harley. help with some manners.
